Vanessa Selase Azoumaro — @selassie_x0 to the 25,000 people who follow her on TikTok — is a Ghanaian gaming content creator and a Guinness World Records title holder. She studied Social Work at KNUST in Kumasi, and set the record on campus.

Fifty-six and a half hours, one screen, no sleep. Ghanaian press reported her as the first African woman to hold a Guinness World Records title in the gaming category.

The marathon is the concentrated version of what she does anyway: long sessions played all the way through rather than clipped for the algorithm. That is what the audience turns up for, and it is what a brand is buying when it sits next to her.
